This could be an airleak after the airflow meter, any freshen dragged in here isn t seen by the ECU and for that reason not compensated for and can thin the engine out and can next allow the engine to rev happening as soon as not desired causing rasping running. As its a mechanical defect it tends not to approach on the irregularity open and you can sometimes listen a hissing noise once the engine running.
I did re-check them tho. The master tech did extensive tests on the ventilate flow meter and said it was good. when I unplug it and govern the motor, the car runs coarse and at 850ish. I can unaccompanied guess that my other rebuilt ecu has an issue, or the tps needs to be re-adjusted, or someway my maf has died in the midst of every this. I don’t think the tps has that much manage in the stand-in of rpm though? I think it and no-one else adjusts it on the subject of 1k..
subsequently I begin the car, the engine surges occurring with 1200 and 2000 rpm support and forth. I tainted the IAC and the TPS subsequent to no fine-tune in symptoms. I have noticed that several Lexus SC’s have this thesame issue. Prior to this I would have to adjust the idle speed screw to subjugate the rpm and it would maintain for a while. Now, the engine is for all time surging to the point where I cannot drive it for danger signal of broken to the drive train. Any experienced solution?
